At Winning Smiles, all doctors are in a constant endeavour to update and upgrade the skills. The field of dentistry has actually metamorphosed with the advent of sophisticated gadgets and equipment. Technology has enabled us to understand our own Science to a whole new level.
I was a fresh graduate, but had work extensively in the department of endodontics (root canals) and had joined a high end dental clinic, which catered to Dental tourism and the NRI population.
Way back on 2001, I was introduced to a regal n dignified septuagenarian from the US, stating that I would do her root canals.
She referred to me as “child” she said something that became the mission of my professional career.
She mentioned how she visited a dental office in the US and how they discussed her dental xray in a subtle yet condescending way, asking questions like “did they take any xrays during the root canal?” The memory of the incident evident in her hurt expression.
“Age wont allow me to travel much now and I may have to visit dentists there, so do a job that can make ‘us’ proud”
Then on its been my honest endeavour to bring global standards and methods to the practice. Remain Teachable
